With cams and such you can only play so much. Also, you effect the power band. It's truely a trade off between low and hig end figures. The old saying is and will always be true, there is no substitute for cubic inches. By stroking, you can keep the power band more broadly across the tach, while not effecting the breathing pattern. And then, on top of that, if you really want a dragster, you go to hotter cams on a stroker. Watch out!!
