While it was in the shop at Bavarian in Berkeley. From what they said, it was methodically changed over by the owner. The shop guys are pretty picky, but they gave it a thumbs up--not sure why someone would bother cost-wise--but, nonetheless a thumbs up. They didn't indicate they'd ever had any difficulty servicing it. The car was immaculate when I looked at it. Very nice. However, given a real one with 110k, versus one assembled by someone else, I'd imagine this will go for a bit less than $10,500.Greg K

If you are going to have to deal with all the cost of an M5, I would at least make it the real thing i.e. resale value.You can buy a nice example for around that price.
Also, it is always hard to repair a car like this, because only the person who built it really knows what is going on with it and where everything is located.
however this does sound like a very nice car..
