as long as the system is maintained properly, it really never needs tuning. But it will need religious maintenance. You will wear normal wear items, especially in the drivetrain and suspension 2x faster than normal. Especially front suspension bushings and rear diff mounts and sub-frame bushings.

Okay, so even though I'm an e12 guy, just for grins, what are the real issues with owning this car. If it's properly maintained, would it really be such a nightmare to keep tuned and happy? Are the maintenance concerns an absolute PITA? My gut says that it's like any properly maintained car in that it'll give the owner the same degree of service the owner gives to it. Given that assumption, are there other major concerns?

Thanks,
Jim
