old plug wires for 88 M5 anygood? junk? gold? (archive)

I found some in my garage. Do wires go bad just sitting in a box for about 4 years? These fine OEM wires are a victim of high tech mechs doing their best to replace whatever.

Turned out the car didn't need new wires. But I had bought a new set anyway of course by then, and much more. Argghhh. So if anyone wants a set of plug wires for a mere pittance, shoot me some coin for a present and postage.
