I am not familiar with the workings or eBay and the rules behind the site. I understand that Jason Lee purchased the car for considerably more than it sold for last week. At whatever amount he is sacrificing I would image that it is beyond my comprehension and selling it at the closed auction price would not be financially reasonable if he is required to do so. It leaves some questions unanswered as to why he did not purse other means of the selling the car that could have potentially fetched more significant offers. However one thing remains, that if in fact this is the final selling price many of us who assumed it would be sold for much more are now kicking ourselves, especially Rob, as he could have bought the car back at a significant profit. And if this is how eBay works I just might consider selling the M5 I have for 10k and buying it back. Though for now and for much longer im happy with the 36k M5 I already have.
