What you see is the rear skirt that comes with the M-Technic body kit. Some euro m5's I've seen came with the M-Technic stuff, while others just have body color painted euro bumpers with an M-tech front spoiler. I'm sure someone else will know the exact details, but I suspect either you could order the M-Tech kit or it came with different year cars.

Does anyone know if original Euro bumpered cars (not conversions) came with a rear valance? In certain pictures, it looks like the rear section in-between the bumper and the exhaust is different than the U.S. model. It appears to come down lower, closer to the exhaust, than a U.S. model. Can anyone verify this, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Thanks for your input.
