Wow! I guess it's that low to accommodate a butt load of turbo boost. Do you know the max boost PSI.

I'm in the process of mapping out my stroker engine and plan on a compression ratio of 10.5:1, which is euro spec. I'm also trying to weigh the differences between the 535i crankshaft V. the euro e34 M5 crank. The 535i crank would obviously be cheaper, but you only rebuild an s38 once every 200k, so why not do what's best. Originally I had thought of building up a turbo engine, but for me, the possible problems outweighed the plus's.

Good call sending your car to Dinan... after all, it's their creation.

Compression is 7.6:1

Talked to Steve Dinan and decided to send the car to them first to have it checked out before it comes home to Green Bay.
