It is a Euro spec (10:1) M30 engine. Found out that it is a BMW replacement block dated 1991. The head is a Hartge H6S head (1985) has larger intake and exhaust valves with extensive porting. The cam is a 282. I port matched a E34 intake and had the throttle body bored 10% larger. I have the Modern Performance MAF conversion and 24lb mustang injectors. The exhaust in Euro spec. with the front resonator removed and Hartge stainless steel headers. There is no catalytic converter or O2 sensor. I have a E28 M5 clutch and a MM 12lb flywheel. Before all of these mods the car had 198.2 RWHP on a Dynojet Dyno. I will soon Dyno it again to squeeze all of the power out of it. I am hoping to see above 260 hp, we’ll see.
I found some parts in Germany and some in the states. It has taken a solid year to get it all together.
