Anyhow, I did some local searching and bought DieHard from Sears, part number 31249 for 110.00 canadian with exchange. They don't list it in their catalog as applicable to our cars, but specs and dimensions are just the same. Interstate quoted me 160.00 canadian for their model MTP-93 and the warranty is the same - 18/72 months. Besides I installed DieHard in wife's 325ix 5 years ago and it still goes strong in our alberta winters.
On another note I measured current with everything off and it was 40 mA - seems too high for radio memory and clock. Is it a sign of SI batteries going south??
