I have a pdf file containing all kinds of BMW torque specs. Not sure if it is complete, but there does seem to be some specs listed for the S38. I will post a link if anyone is interested.

Are the reprints of these manuals worth $229.? I want to buy a set (ther are two volumes, one covers torque specs and one covers procedures). These workshop manuals cover the 633csi and M6, for 1987 '88 model years, and are the only BMW manuals that cover the S38 engine. Does anyone have a set they love? Or are they lame ducks? How thorough are they regarding the S38?

Thanks for your input,
Ethan
