Nate:

I replaced my own so I cannot give you an estimate on labour. However, I had new valve guides put in and the machine shop bill was $600 for the whole thing. You should put new guides as old guides allow the valves to rock, tearing up any new seals you might put in.

Anyone had a head gasket replaced? Mine is leaking down the front of the engine block and I was wondering what it'll cost me. Thanks
