Alright, I believe you LOL! Now i am influenced by this sellers enthusiasm of course but, what's so difficult about the design?Seems not to be any different than any other e28 M5. only everything between the engine and the body was installed new in 98... no seat of the pants custom fittings built by the tech in his mad Bimmer mechanic lab... just standard OEM and aftermarket parts i would think well known by any seasoned M tech. ok now that i've reinforced my invincible ignorance even more, the biggest plus for me is mainly the very low mileage on this engine. The seller told me he got the thumbs up from BMW Canada and will have the required stickers and letter from the manufactuer next week to comply with U.S. import regs or so i am told. i do feel some trepidation about handing him the cash, driving to the border and being told it fails to conform somehow in spite of the letter and stickers. he will install the 535 inst. cluster free and give me the euro one to replace after i ditch the feds LOL!! well anyway . if i get it i'll let you know and maybe race you along rt. 6 Some Velvet Morning on Old Cape Cod.. . Thanks for your .04 cents Tim. How's the business coming ?
