It wasn't until later on (Around 1987 or so) that the 16" BBS wheels were used. I have seen 1987 E28 M5's come with more TRX wheels than I have seen BBS 16" wheels. And yes, it looks like a real M5. The seller on eBay that is saying that there were only 10 or so imported is full of it. There were WAY more than 10 imported. My importer alone imported almost 30.
