In Reply to: How Do You Install the Front Seat M-Emblem? posted by Lamar on July 03, 2002 at 03:01:18:

Remove the back panel of the seat back by removing the 2 small philips screws at the bottom. There are some seat positions that make this easier, but a short handle screw driver is the easist way. The panel just pulls straight down afterwards.

THen it is obvious, the "nails" are pushed through the seat and bent over.
I had the same thing happen, ( the new ones are dirt cheap - imagine my surprise ) I used the old one as a gauge on how tight to make it before bending the nails over. I think I went a bit looser to keep the plastic from bending as much.

My front passenger's side M-emblem broke in two, so I pulled it out and superglued it back together. However, the way those mounting nails are arranged on the emblem, I can't figure out how to get the emblem back into the seat. Is there some trick to it?
