I've replaced both the front and the rear roundels on my M5. All you have to do to get it off is to just CAREFULLY pry it up from the hood. You might be able to get it using just your fingernails. Otherwise, try using something similarly flat, but gentle on your paint, to pry the roundel up from the hood. Just so you'll know, the rear roundel just prys off, too.

By the way, Izzy, do you also own a 330i?
