I have the OEM rear shade in my `88 Bronzit M6. It is great, hooks onto tabs attached to frame above the rear window. Its only drawback is, if I have the rear 2 windows open (they only go down 1/2 way), the shade flaps in the breeze.

My wife, Madeline's E28 M5 didn't come with the shade. My shade is very integrated, design-wise, into the package shelf area. As to a source, I don't know of one.
