Sounds like you want a quick answer, so.. no more than $10k with that mileage, $8k if there is anything at all wrong with it.
As for what to look out for, we are all continually expanding our knowledge here on this board. You'd better love working on cars and do most of the work yourself, only then will it be worth the trouble. That said, these cars are very well built with extremely tough engines and if any high perf. car is a good buy at 200k this would be it.


1988 M5. 200k on the odometer. Good condition. What's a basic starting price that I can expect to pay?
Also, how about maint. costs, etc. It would be a daily driver, no track intended. Anything else that I should know about them?
