My 1981 323i needed rings and valves and rather than doing just that, I found a 2.8 liter m30 engine(not m20) I need some idea on what will directly bolt on to this car, any customized ideas anything...The motor came out of a 1980 euro 728, and I don't have any of the wiring. I think I am going to find a small six 2.8 and do a build up stated on the e21 webring start page.

putting a big six into your body will be,, well lets just say you'd be much futher ahead sticking with the baby six's (I speak from experirnce)
