'75 3.0SI off Ebay -- need some help (archive)

I bought the 3.0SI on Ebay. '75 3.0SI automatic with 62K original miles. I am pretty sure the mileage is accurate. Car purrs pretty smoothly. The trans needs some adjustment and there are some nitpicky things needing repair... but it is in very nice condition overall. Seller was difficult.

I have a few direct questions:
- There is a low vibration at 70MPH? sort of a slow throbbing sound. Driveline? suspension?
- Is there anything I need to worry about since the battery is practically dead? Anything need to be reset?

Otherwise... seems to be a very nice, excellent driving car. I plan to ask A LOT of questions...
