Can anyone tell me if there is a ventilated disc upgrade that I can do on my '76 3,osi??

You can use 3.0CS rotors and calipers; they are a bolt-on conversion. The same calipers F&R and rear rotors were also used on the early 6 series cars, up to 82, but those cars used a different front hub (lug bolts instead of studs/nuts) and I don't think the front rotors will fit your car.
These calipers are basically the same as yours, but they have a spacer between the 2 halves of the caliper body to allow for the thicker rotors.
These calipers each have 4 pistons where most newer cars all have only one. I think that is why they look bigger.
