I just got around to installing the 530 muffler today and it does not just bolt on.
The inlet pipe has to be shortened and rewelded on and the outlet pipe has to be cutoff and a new "ess" bend made and attached. Local muffler shop can handle all items for about $50. This cost plus the $80 cost off the muffler is a far cry from the $330+/- I was quoted for a dirct fit unit if you can find it.
I will try and post photos next week of how the mod is made so others can see how it's done. Not too hard and you still save a ton of money!
