Guys,
I need a new slave cylinder for my '72 2002, I found a new one in my stash of parts but I think it might be for a 3.0cs or Bavaria or other early 6-cyl BMW. According to BAS catalog, the 2002's and the early 6-cyl cars both use the "circlip style" slave cylinders (but they use different parts numbers!!). How can I tell if I have the right part?? What would be the likely difference between the 2002 part and the 6-cyl part (I'm thinking the 6-cyl part would have a larger bore, if I used it on the '02 it SHOULD work, but I might have increased clutch pedal travel ??).

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bret in NC
