I think that any '80s vintage alternator will work. Take one from an E28.

'72 Bavaria


The stock alternator just won't make on my '72. The a/c and lights completely overwhelm it. Is there a Bosch 80 Amp that will fit. Perhaps a retrofit kit? Any advice and help is appreciated.
