The 3.0s is a slightly different creature from the Bavaria and especially from the 3.0cs.

The CS was a coupe. The 3.0s was a fancy-schmancy Bavaria. All that data was taken from a period Motor Trend article that is on the Senior Six web page.

And what time period are you talking about re: $5K? You could buy an '02 for $2500 or $3 large I think when they came out, and by '76 they were up to $5/6K. I have a hard time believing a Bavaria was only a little bit more expensive than an '02.

Caveat: for most of this period in question I was not alive.
