Greetings,
I've graduated through 2002's, an e-12, and just aquired a '75 3.0si. I've got questions, mainly having to do with where can I find things.
First ( and most important), did someone like Haynes or Bentley ever do a manual for these? If so, where can I find one? The mechanicals should be very similar to my e-12 but a manual would be an enormous help.
Second, I've seen several references to the "very expensive" 5-speed conversion on the various e3 pages, and read the 4-speed how-to someone posted. A 5s from an e-12 or some e-28's should bolt up ( bell housing and mounts). Where is the expensive part once the trans has been found? Driveshaft cutting?
Third. I've found an H&B turbo installation for a '79 csi ( actually a complete parts car). Is any kind of cross-fertilization possible?
Sorry for the novel, any help or leads appreciated.
Eamon
