Do anyone know if a 6 speed gear box bolts right on a M30 engine or not????

Hi Magnus,

I looked in the ETK CD-Rom from BMW and there is two possibilities for the M5 3.8 First were delivered with 5 speed gearbox (fixation is like the M30 Motorblock). I think the 6 speed could fit on your car. You have to shorten the shaft and control the fixation in the clutch disk of the primary axe of the gearbox. The diameter of the clutch disk is 240mm, always the same as the old E3, E9, E12, ...
I hope you can mount it on your car. Tell me more about driving.

Bye
Michel
