< No problems, that is the way it was designed to work. The early Bavaria's were very much european cars, not that much different for this country. If you want to change it I believe it is the grey wire coming off the ignition switch that does it. At any rate, you want the wire off the ignition that becomes hot (12 volts) when the ignition is switched off.
