have a 76 3.0si and just gave it a tune up and replaced and adj. points to .015, ran at proper rpm when adj. to .005 gap and now the car is idleing at about 1400 rpm. adj. the idle speed screw as low as possible but it still is at 1400 rpm ( on the left side of the injection mechanism, by flow meter). was idleing too fast before tune up also. complete tune up adj. valves, new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil, condensor, etc. no binds in linkage, etc. any help would be appreciated. thank you
