Where to find basic E3 info/FAQs (archive)

I'd like to add an E3 to my stable (alongside my '70 2002) and am wondering where I might find a good source (preferably online) of information about changes from year to year, what to look for when buying (rust, weaknesses), engine size/fuel delivery, options, etc.

After 11 years with my '02, I've got those pretty well figured out. Where can I start to learn about their big brothers?

Any insights on buying and owning appreciated.
