The Southeastern 2002 Owners Group is pleased to announce details of our Fall Event. We would like to invite all classic (20 years and older) BMW's to participate in our event.
Join us on Saturday, October 13th, 10:00 am at the new, ANDRETTI SPEED LAB, 11100 Alpharetta Hwy (just north of Mansell Road on Hwy 9) in Roswell GA. www.andrettispeedlab.com
We'll be meeting in the large, front parking lot adjoining Roswell Road. Spend the morning with your friends, and make some new ones, as we mingle and enjoy the assortment of 2002's sure to attend from around the Southeast. The $4.5 MILLION dollar ANDRETTI SPEED LAB will be our backdrop for a morning of fun and fellowship. Doors to the speed lab open at 11 am. Take a stab at the wheel of a real race car - challenge your skills at the arcade - or enjoy the menu and assorted offerings of this fantastic complex.
Our own FUN RUN begins at 12:30 with a planned drive through the beautiful north Georgia mountains.
We'll be heading up Ga400 north to Hwy 369, and crossing west on 369 to scenic Hwy 9. From there, its due north on Hwy 9 to Dahlonega. Out of Dahlonega we'll stay on the twisties up Hwy 19 to StonePile Gap. Then we head east on Hwy 19 to scenic Turner's Corner to stop and enjoy a late lunch overlooking the Chestatee River. Check your tires and your gas, because after lunch its back down the mountains to the city. Our trip should bring us back to the city around 5 pm.
Please, JOIN US for a day of SHOW and GO - in the parking lot, in the SpeedLab, or caravaning up the mountain roads. Join the Southeastern 2002 Owners Group 10am on SAT, Oct 13th. Its where the rounds meet the squares, and everything 02 happens in the South!!
