Bavaria seats are actually larger than 733i seats. E23 733i and E12 5-series seats are the same dimensions except for 7s having foam backs versus the horsehair back stuffed 5s. E28 models have an off-set seat frame in that one leg is lower than the other (can't swap seats on the frame from an E12 to an E28).

However, what you can do is get some steel plates and by drilling some holes construct off-set mounting brackets. I did this to swap leather seats from an E12 into a Bavaria and vice versa. You basically retain your original seat track gearing.
