I have a question. I drove a 1968 2800 sedan for a short period in 1983. I think it's still the best riding and handling car I've ever been in, and I've always wanted a car that could provide the same level of driver enjoyment. Perhaps this is all a reflection of my inexperience: in fact, I've never driven or been a passenger in any other BMW since. And I guess seasoned BMW-ites would probably find the comparison laughable. But seriously, how does the ride and handling of an E36 feel in comparison with that of a 2800, 2500, 3.0L etc..? And in any other respects? I'm really interested to hear what you have to say. Cheers.
