Show a little respect dumb-ass, your posting clearly demostrates your ignorance. Try to realize that if there weren't any E3's there wouldn't have been E-anything, including E36's! Everything that BMW has become can trace it's lineage one way or another to the senior-six. In it's day the E3 was nothing less than brilliant, how many other 4dr. sedans made between '68-'76 would do 128mph right off the showroom floor?? (without overdrive) Today the combination of price, ease of modification, results vs. money spent equals an OLD car without equal. Yes it is an OLD car, and there's probably a BUILT one out there that can give that tuning parlor special you BOUGHT a sound trouncing, try to remember that next time your paying for a smog check sonny.
