I live in Los Angeles, where old cars are fashion accessories. E9 coupes, Merc SE coupes, "pagoda" SLs, 2002s everywhere. It all starts with the wierdo-car nut types, then the artsy bohemian types start driving 'em, then the trendy "industry" types with lots of disposable cash finally hop on the bandwagon. Luckily the Bavaria has only reached the bohemians thus far, consider it exclusivity, those who snub the Bav are simply ingnorant or stupid. The worst thing I see out here is a bubble-headed blonde, with too much money, driving a sweet-looking "pagoda" SL or a 300se who more hasn't a clue wether or not it came with air-suspension; should the Bavaria really be subjected to such a neophyte??
