Reasons I personally snub the E23: it's far too electrically-fancy and I've seen a lot of problems with it. too old a car with too many gadgets, plus (from what I've seen) understandably difficilut to work on. Very 80's styling, not terribly attractive (though I kind of like it personally) and, from the few that I have driven, all 3.5's, very slow compared to my 3.0. I haven't gotten to drive a manual one though. I actually don't like the six series for the same reasons, 2 doors and all (only one I've driven is a later 635CSiA though.

The simplicity (relatively) and performance of the E3 and it's classic and classy styling really do it for me.

Try the 745, it should satisfy any need for speed. Also the Euro e23's look much better than the USA models.
