I have a 74 Bav with a BW auto tranny. Has anyone converted an auto to a stick? I guess a donor Bav would work but will any other 5 speed tranny from another model fit with not too much fabrication? Any thoughts or suggestions?


You could convert to the Getrag 262 4sp or Getrag 265 5spd. The seniorsix.org website has a FAQ section which runs through what you will need to do; however, this section was going through changes this week and was not loading.
