The primary decision is 5 speed or 4 speed.

The ONLY benefit of the 5 speed over the 4 is sustained highway driving. The 5 will lower your revs, as it works as an overdrive. All the other gears are identical. So if you only use the Bav for Sunday drives, etc, then the 4 speed will work quite well, and give you few problem if you get a good one. If you spend an hour a day on the freeway running at 75mph, then you should consider the added expense of the 5 speed.

In either case, you'll need the following:

Tranny
mounting brackets & rubber mounts
pedal assy
hydraulic assy, Master and slave
flywheel
pilot bearing
clutch assy
guibo
driveshaft
shifter assy
console for manual
instrument panel (no PRD12)

I just happen to have all the parts you need for the 4 sp. $500 + frt. I'm located in S. FL.

The 4speed was the best I've ever driven. No second gear synchro problem, no tranny whine. Driveshaft is good. The stuff is still in the car, and will have t be removed. Let me know.
