I've had lots of german that use that little filter and none of them were ever "full". Just enough fuel in there to be visible :)
all new bmw fuel lines and sucked crud out of the tank
cleaned micro pump screen and installed see thru filter in advance of the pump
but it stays empty untill small burst of fuel comes thru
and it drains out again. does the pump only pull when the
floats demand it? or should i replace the fuel pump
