Zenith INAT problem (archive)

Hi

i've got a pair of INATs with Mix Recirc and TN starter on a 2.8. i have a strong suspicion that the stage two, on both of them, is not opening. Certainly, there is no life with the filter off, looking down the barrel, and giving it the big rev up. Giving the actuator shaft thing a manual wiggle opens the butterfly. The diaphrams appear to be in good condition. An additional problem is that i am a vacuumly challenged person. i've read the excellent material the Devinder has on his site - without it i would never have been able to work out where all those bloody tubes went in the first place, so thanks, Devinder. Unfortunately, i'm none the wiser regarding solving this particular problem. Does anyone have the knowledge and the time to talk me through this problem?
