Hi, folks.

I've poste a few messages here, without properly introducing myself.

I reside in Crystal City (Arlington), VA. My "other" current BMW is a '97 540 6-speed, and I used to own a '98 M3 coupe.

I've always liked the early '70's models. I've been lurking here and on the e9 board for about 18 months, and I've been shopping for an e3 or e9 I liked for a couple years. Recently, I found an e3 I liked, and took the plunge. It is a '73 Bav in Riviera, with blue vinyl interior. It is very low rust (so far as I can tell), and the interior is pretty nice. The main downsides are (1) some front end damage, and (2) engine issues.

Anyway, I'm glad to make everyone's acquaintance, and I look forward to the day that I might be able to contribute in some small way to the gruppe.
