No really easy and cheap way, but the most cost effictive is probably to get a 3.5 engine and drop it in. They seem to last almost forever and you can get a used engine cheaper than even a set of stock let alone hi compression pistons. Or if you can find one, a Euro 3.5 engine, they were 218 HP stock. Not real easy or cheap, but much less expensive than triple sidedraft webbers and a cam and headers. And IMHO, the jump to 3.5 is much more than the jump to 3.3.
