I have a 1988 325is that has a starting problem,it seems kind or complex and any help would be apperciated.
After the car has been sitting all night when it is really cold out -10 to about +20 deg. the car starts great. If the tempature gets above about 20 deg. the car has to be cranked about ten seconds before it will start. Once it starts it runs fine and is easy to start again reguardless of outside tempature as long as it has not been shut off more than a half hour. If the cars sits more that a half hour it has to be cranked about ten seconds or more. I replaced the fuel pump not long ago and it did not help the problem. Also if i keep the gas tank full it seems to help.
Thanks,
Rich
