: really, well then those should sufice, but hopfully not for long! hehe.
: With what I'm planning (cam, springs, i throttle, intake kit, custom chip), what possible HP might I get? And, what should I have the redline on the chip be put at? I've heard anywhere from 6 to 7...any ideas?
: Thanks. Pete McHenry has been VERy helpful to me also. Matter of fact, I got my springs and cam from him.

Well I don't have any custom dyno numbers or rear wheel HP figures but Dinan's E to i kit with essentially the same mods gave 158HP and 185 ft lbs torque at the flywheel. Since I'm away from home, I don't have the exact figures. I believe redline should be at 6500 RPM since the e head will limit the engines flow potential. Metric Mechanic's chip for this type of application was a 6,000 RPM chip. No matter what, you should get the custom chip last, this way you at least have an idea of how to meet your engine's needs after your mods have been done.
