: : : : Will they fit? Anyone have a reasonable set of M3 springs for sale?

: : : They fit right in place of the old springs
: : : with no mods required. I don't have any for
: : : sale however. They'll be a nice improvement
: : : over the stock 325 springs. At least for the
: : : first few weeks or months.....

: : : Exactly which shocks do you have?

: : : Randy Walters
: : : 89 325is (formerly with M3 springs)

: : First few weeks or months...? What happens then? Not looking for any drastic handling change or ride change. Just want to lower the car about 1" to 2" all around. Have to change struts/shocks anyway and thought might as well do the springs. Will probably add a set of M-Technic factory white 15X7 wheels so need to take that into consideration also. If I use the M3 springs should I use the M3 shocks? Is there a difference in the range of operation? I'll probably buy either KYB Gas-Adjusts or Boge shocks. Want to keep price down as much as possible.

: The M3 springs will only lower your car .75 front and .50 rear. I suggest going for Eibach Prokits and Boge Turbo Gas, it's a decently priced combination, and works well over stock. If you must have gas adjustable shocks go with Koni.

i put e30 m3 springs, shocks, and struts in my 325e, it ride nicely, and turns are sweet. i thought about putting after market springs but most of them are very stiff, go with the e30 m3 springs
