I'm looking for either an E30 or E21 3-series for trade for my '71 2002. I love the '02 but I'm going to be commuting an hour and a half daily for work and I'd like some of the creature comforts of a newer car (mainly A/C!).
I've put a lot of money (about $5000+) into this car recently and would make a great car for someone as a daily driver or build up as a racer. Originally I was just going to sell it, but since I'm staying in the older BMW family anyway, I thought I'd see if anyone was interested...
71 BMW 2002
-4-speed manual
-recently rebuilt engine (121 head) STILL WITH WARRANTY (on both parts and labor through September of 2000; Unlimited Milage; smog parts taken off)
-Weber 2 barrel carb installed with rebuilt engine.
-New Radiator (triple row) with 5-year warranty done at same time as engine.
-New exterior paint last summer (white)
-Navy Interior
-320i steering wheel (still have 2002 original in excellent condition with leather cover)
-Good interior (BUT- small crack in dash, small tear on side of passenger head rest)
-Runs excellent and great as a daily driver. Fun car!
