Oil Light Flicker??? (archive)

1984 318i.
After warm up, and at a stop, once in a while the oil light will flicker. It goes off upon acceleration. Haven't tried to see if it will go off when I rev engine though.
Oil level is good, recent change as well. Am thinking about a sensor going?? Thanks for help!
