However, we had to forego shoehorning the newer M motor, and went for the older M635i DOHC block. Our project car, the BMW X3Sport has qualified to climb Pikes' Peak this summer, 2000. We entered in the Open Class division, hoping to topple Rod Millen's 10min Toyota Tacoma, and finally put BMW in Pike's Peak history.
We are launching a website, devoted to the development of this unique car, later this month. Due to media and partner constraints, I regret I cannot enclose photos of our 1991 BMW M3, at this time. What the JAM Motorsport team developed is a
