: This is not an "M" model. The seller is full of crap. I believe the engine that is in the car is the 2.7 Super ETA engine, kind of a 325i block with a different top end.

: The shudder could be different things, probably expensive to fix.

: Good luck.

: : Hello,

: : I've just seen a decent looking 87 325 with 126k. Everything seems to work well, except there's a driveline shudder when decelerating (when I take the foot off the gas pedal). Of course, there's more shudder in the lower gears.

: : The question is - is this a common occurence? Something that can be fixed relatively cheap? Or am I looking at a major overhaul?

: : The other question is - the seller tells me it's an "M" model, with a 2.7L engine and some sport bits. Is it any better than a "regular" 325? The trunk just says 325, no other letters.

: : Thanks in advance to all who'll take the trouble to answer.

: : Andrei D
: : Full of doubts

It's not an ///M nor is it a Super ETA. It's a base 325.
