: hi , i have a hole in my oil pan....don't know how i did it last night.....but i was driving fast.....anyway i need to know how much it will cost me to buy a used one at a junk yard or something......i own a 86 325e....thanks in advance

What a coincidence, we were just talking about oil pans. Since everyone will NEED an oil pan if they damaged theirs and want their engine to run, oil pan prices are higher than you'd expect. New is about $300+ (ask how I know). Since the function is the same for new and used pans the used prices aren't discounted too far away from the new price. I believe Steve has one for sale, I'm sure he'll take care of you.
