: When going from bottle cap to BBS rims, are different studs required. If so, where is the best place to find replacement ones?

I don't know what length the bottlecap's
lugbolts are, but the ones that are used with the
325is 14x6.5" Cross-Spokes have a 25mm long shank
(starting where the taper meets the shank). The
two wheels may very well take the same lugbolt
since they're both alloys. Steel wheels tend
to take shorter lugbolts as they're thinner.
Whatever lugbolt you have, you want to have like
6 or 8 full turns worth of thread engagement, but
make sure they're not so long that the contact
the front splash shields or especially the rear
brake components inside the drum or rotor. It
can happen, trust me.
